Kainos is actively engaged in a series of projects for high-profile Government departments and agencies, as well as the Government Digital Service (GDS), to help redesign the digital services that government provides - making them so straightforward and convenient that all those who can use them prefer to do so.

Kainos is delivering a number of Government Transactional Services, some of which are Exemplar projects including, the Individual Electoral Registration Digital Service for Cabinet Office, a Driver's Information Enquiry service for DVLA and a Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) application and payment service for Defra. It's also seeing an increasing demand for the deployment of digital services, and is utilising its knowledge and experienced gained on GDS projects to transform other public services throughout the UK.

In each initiative, the high calibre, skill and experience of Kainos project teams, along with the open source technologies and agile methods employed, have helped simplify projects, accelerate delivery times and keep costs down, ensuring output in a matter of weeks rather than months or years.

Kainos has benefited from G-Cloud which has enabled it to engage and procure effectively with Government, which until recently was almost impossible for small companies. The introduction of the new Digital Services framework later this year should also open more doors.
