Juniper names Gerri Elliott as executive VP

SUNNYVALE, USA: Juniper Networks, Inc., a provider in high-performance networking, today announced the appointment of Gerri Elliott to the role of executive vice president of Strategic Alliances.

She would have the responsibility for forging and fostering Juniper's strategic alliances globally. Elliott would report directly to chief executive officer Kevin Johnson, said a press release.

"Our focus on strategic partnerships that include collaborative innovation and aligned go-to-markets is an important element of our growth agenda," said Johnson.

He added, "Gerri's deep experience with customers, partners and global relationships positions her well to drive impactful strategic alliances for Juniper. She will be a tremendous asset to our executive team."

"Juniper continues to be one of the world's most innovative companies with proven high-performance networking technologies," said Elliott.

Elliott joins Juniper Networks from Microsoft, where she was corporate vice president, Worldwide Public Sector organization and co-head of the company's North American subsidiary.
