Join Xiaomi's Mi Fan Festival to grab Redmi Note 4 at Rs 1

Celebrating its seventh birthday, Xiaomi has rolled out some discounts and lucrative offers for its users. Among the spate of offers, the most eye-catching one is that you can avail Redmi Note 4 at a price as low as Rupee 1.

On April 6, Xiaomi will host the Mi Fan Festival in India where it is offering smartphones, fitness bands, and accessories for sale on the Mi.com site. The company is also hosting an app-only flash sale, and giving out goodies, bundle offers and a fun speed-challenge based ‘Tap Mi’ game for fans in India.

Manu Jain, Vice President and Managing Director, Xiaomi India said, “Xiaomi is turning seven, and our excitement for Mi Fan Festival has grown seven-fold with all the offers we have for our fans. We are thrilled about the Rose Gold edition of our latest smartphone Redmi 4A which will go on sale for the first time. We intend to bring smiles on the faces of Mi fans with these special and exclusive offers during the festival.”

First up, in the app-only flash sale, users can buy Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 at Rs 1. To purchase the phone at Rs 1, users must download the app and follow the registration procedure. The sale will begin at 10 am IST, and 20 Redmi Note 4 will be up for grabs on the Mi Store app. Also, there will be a sale at 2 pm IST where 40 Mi Band 2 and 50 10000mAh Mi Power Banks will be up for grabs for Rs 1 as well.

The Redmi 4A Rose Gold, which was launched last month only in India, will be made available at the same event for Rs 5,999. The price for its Mi 5 smartphone has been slashed from Rs 24,999 to Rs 22,999.

In the one-day Mi Fan Festival, users can also buy Xiaomi Redmi 3S Prime, Mi Max Prime, and the Xiaomi Mi 5. The company is also offering Rs 100 off on the soft case if you purchase the Xiaomi Redmi 3S Prime. Users can also avail up to Rs 200 off on purchasing the Mi Protect accidental and liquid damage insurance for your Xiaomi smartphone.

There are also other offers like 'no cost EMI' on Mi Max Prime and a 5 percent cash back with State Bank of India debit and credit cards on April 6, on a minimum transaction value of Rs 5,000, though the maximum cashback offered will be Rs 500.

Then, there will be Power bundles including a Standard Adapter, with a USB Cable, and a 20,000mAh Mi Power Bank. Other than that, there are offers on packages of Mi In-Ear Pro HD Earphones, and 10,000mAh Mi Power Bank Pro, and on the combination of Mi Air Purifier 2, and Mi Air Purifier Filter.
