Can it get better than this? After Vodafone, Airtel and Idea, now even state-owned telecom company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has jumped in to take on Reliance Jio with its latest offer. The telco has launched a plan that will offer 2GB data per day with unlimited calling at Rs 339.

“The benefits customer will get under the Combo STV of Rs 339 are unlimited calls in BSNL network and unlimited data with fair use policy of 2 GB per day with the validity of 28 days. The data of 2GB per day is one of the best in the industry. The free calls to other network will be for 25 minutes per day, and after that, the charges will be at 25 paise per min,” the company said in an official statement.

Reliance Jio recently launched Jio Prime service that will give unlimited data and calls from April 1st, 2017 until March 31, 2018, for one time registration fee of Rs 99 and Rs 303 per month.

To counter this Airtel and Vodafone launched their own prepaid recharge pack at Rs 345 and Rs 346 respectively. Airtel provides 1GB data per day, with a cap of 500MB during the day and 500MB between 12 am, and 6 am. Vodafone’s Rs 346 recharge pack, on the other hand, comes with 1GB of data per day for 28 days, as well as unlimited calls.  Idea too launched a Rs 348 pack on similar lines.
