Due to the rising concerns about the JEE Main 2021, CBSE Board exams; the Education Minister has decided to go live on December 10 to address these concerns. “We decided that NTA will come out with the syllabus for competitive exams; after assessment of the existing scenario in various boards. MoE will launch a campaign to seek views from students, parents and teachers on how and when to conduct the exams next year,” Ramesh Pokriyal had shared.
As for JEE Main 2021 and NEET 2021 examinations, many experts are suggesting a reduction in syllabus and change in dates. Last updates from NTA had suggested that JEE Main 2021 January examination may be pushed till February. The registration for the same would commence from December first week. Since we are already in December first week, and EduMin is still listening to concerns, dates won't come out before the 10th. Yet, we expect more clarity when Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank goes live on social media on December 10.

Under a normal calendar, the CBSE releases the date sheet for Class in December and conducts the examinations in February and March. Last year, the datasheet was released in November. Further, students who aim to give competitive exams like JEE Main 2021 or NEET 2021, would register by September. However, this year, the CBSE might defer the crucial exams till April-May as schools across the country are closed for more than 8 months now; while NTA might postpone the exams to February-March.
