Jathavedan appointed Marlabs associate VP

BANGALORE: Technology services and solutions provider Marlabs Inc. has appointed K.J. Jathavedan as its associate vice president (AVP) based in Bangalore reporting to the Head of Global Delivery.

Jathavedan is a SEI-authorized Lead Assessor for CMM and his major focus area will be to implement the CMMi quality model in the organization. He will also be responsible for creating various Centers of Excellence within the organization.

Before joining Marlabs, Jathavedan headed Ernst & Young, Middle East's offshore development and IT support centre at Thiruvananthapuram. He has over 27 years of experience in the IT industry.

He had earlier worked with Network Systems and Technologies (NeST) and VSSC at Thiruvananthapuram.

Marlabs USA is a $50 million provider of solutions and services for the healthcare, insurance, real estate, media and entertainment verticals. The company has two facilities in India - one housing its staffing arm besides sales and marketing professionals and an offshore development center.
