Jataayu will also enable end users to download the jB5 from PC to mobile, said Arun Tansali, CTO, Jataayu, to CyberMedia News during the sidelines of the ‘The Mobile Web in Developing Countries’ workshop, organized by Jataayu and World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). This facility will be formally made available from February 2007.

As mobile penetration in developing countries is higher than PC penetration, Jataayu aims to bring mobile browsing facility to the low-end mobile handsets as well. It has tied up with Giant, a mobile manufacturer in China to provide jB5 in the mid- range handsets, Tansali added.
