Itel Mobile launches S42 and A44 smartphones with 18:9 displays in India

Chinese smartphone manufacturer Itel Mobile has announced three new smartphones in the budget-friendly segment for the Indian audience. The smartphones named S42, A44 and A44 Pro will be sporting 18:9 displays, 4G VoLTE support and runn on Android OS.

Itel S42:

The device sports a 5.65-inch HD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 chipset with 3GB RAM and 16GB onboard storage that can be expanded up to 128GB. It runs on Android 8.0 Oreo and has a 13-megapixel rear camera with dual flash, PDAF and a 13-megapixel front camera with f/2.0 aperture and flash.

Itel S42 is backed by a 3,000 mAh battery, which lasts for approximately 16 days on standby, as claimed by the company. On the connectivity front, the smartphone comes with dedicated dual-SIM and other options like -- 4G, fingerprint sensor, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. The Itel S42 price in India has been set at Rs 8,499, and it will be available in Black and Champagne colour variants.

Itel A44:

Next is the Itel A44 which has a 5.45-inch full-screen display, runs on Android 7.0 Nougat and features a 5-megapixel front camera along with a 5-megapixel rear camera with flash. It has 1GB RAM and 8GB internal memory which can be expanded up to 32GB. It also has a fingerprint sensor and a 2,400 mAh battery. The Itel A44 will be available in three colours Champagne, Rose gold, and Red for Rs 5,799.

Additionally, Itel also announced a third device named Itel A44 Pro that will hit the market by mid-April.
