iSoftStone hosts Innovation Developer Forum 2013 in Beijing

BEIJING, CHINA: iSoftStone Holdings Ltd hosted the Innovation Developer Forum 2013 at its global headquarters in Beijing today. With a theme of "Open, Share, Collaborate, and Innovate," the event is the first premier technology and innovation conference that iSoftStone has hosted in its 12-year history.

More than 500 technology experts and experienced developers, as well as VIP guests from companies such as IBM, Intel, Huawei, VMWare China, participated in the event for in-depth discussions on enterprise innovation and for sharing the latest development technologies. The Forum focused on key industry topics including Cloud Computing, Mobile Internet, Social Networks, Big Data, and Analytics.

"Driven by emerging technologies such as Cloud Computing, Big Data, Mobile Internet and beyond, the global IT services industry has stepped into a new era with big changes," said T.W. Liu, chairman and CEO of iSoftStone, in his opening remarks.

The one-day conference had multiple speeches, panel sessions, and round table discussions on key topics around industry trends and business models, innovative technology and business, emerging development technology and management, smart solutions, and case studies. The event facilitated interaction among participants about innovative technologies.

At the morning session, "Innovation Across Borders Summit," a number of industry leaders gave speeches and shared their viewpoints. These included Walter Fang, iSoftStone senior VP and CTO; Ni Dun, iSoftStone senior VP and head of the Corporate Innovation Institute; Chen Gu, CTO of IBM Software in Greater China; Gong Min, founder of China Freedom Software Database and principle scientist of Beijing Ningsi; and technical experts from Huawei and Intel.
