Follow UsNEW DELHI, INDIA: IronKey, on Monday announced that they launched IronKey Enterprise Serverv2.0. It compliments their primary product, Ironkey Enterprise flash drive.
The new product is a promising on premise solution for managing the IronKey Enterprise flash drives. It features automatic encryption, active malware defenses and identity services with remote management capabilities. It has several new features as well. This includes a dashboard which visually maps device location and status.
To add to this, it is accompanied a search engine, a device timeout policy, a network policy. The latter restricts where devices can be unlocked. The capability to lock the flash drive or destroy the data provides complete data leak protection of intellectual property, confidential and proprietary data.
It is also expected to deliver unprecedented mobile data security. And IronKey hopes that the prospective customers of this product will include enterprises and government organizations as it comprises of a seemingly robust policy-driven management environment.
IronKey's management software and associated services allow enterprises of all sizes, government agencies, military, and other organizations to take back control of the mobile data that has been leaking out of their organizations due to the uncontrolled proliferation of USB drives. Some prominent consumers of IronKey products include Fortune 500 companies, enterprise organizations which deal in financial services, healthcare and legal markets. Government agencies which use IronKey products include FEMA, NATO and DHS.

The product offers user device recovery, which in addition to provisions of enforceable security and access control policies is very suitable for organizations with use a centralized management in order to meet their audit and regulatory requirements. Automated provisioning and lifecycle management features of the device lowers the total cost of ownership. This is expected to simplify the scalability of large scale deployments.
