IRCTC feast: Dominos pizza and KFC on your train seat

BANGALORE, INDIA: Fast food chain Dominos and Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) have partnered with Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) to deliver food to passengers of some select and popular long-distance trains.

This is a part of IRCTC's e-catering service. At present, the e-catering service is available in only limited number of trains running without pantry car.

Any passenger with valid confirmed reservation ticket can book food through e-payment mode between 0600 hrs to 2200 hrs. Options of choosing station and food selection are available in the IRCTC e-catering website, www.ecatering.irctc.co.in.

Alternatively, passengers can also make the booking by dialing 1800-1034-139 (Toll-free), 0120-4383892-99 or by typing MEAL and sending to 139.

Orders can be cancelled 2 hours prior to the scheduled delivery time and the balance amount after deduction of a cancellation charge of Rs. 20 will be refunded to the payee account.
