The much-anticipated device from Apple, iPhone X is going on sale today worldwide. The iPhone X starts at $999 in the US and significantly more in many other countries. In India, the device will go on sale at Apple authorized resellers from 6 pm onwards.

The iPhone X is the first phone from the company to feature OLED display and features a unique Face ID authentication system. The device does not have its iconic home button. The phone is designed with a glass back to allow for wireless charging and the frame, rather than being made of aluminum, is made from steel.

There’s a 7-megapixel front-facing FaceTime HD camera. It is powered by the A11 Bionic processor which comes with a neural engine for supporting machine learning, augmented reality and 3D gaming. Shipping with Apple’s newest operating system, iOS 11, the iPhone X is the only device in Apple’s line up to support Animojis, wherein you can create and send face-mapped 3D emojis to your contacts.
