Everything about the upcoming iPhone 7 is known to, I guess everyone. From improved waterproofing to removal of the age-old 3.5mm audio jack, a dual-camera setup on the iPhone 7 Plus to upgraded storage options, we have given you all the updates.

But now what we have is a new detailed video comparing the iPhone 7 to the iPhone 6S and the not so good news is that after a point of time you really feel like shouting- “What’s new, man?”

The video, attained by Nowhereelse.fr shows a purported iPhone 7 casing (4.7 inch model) that corroborates previous rumors: new larger camera, redesigned antenna lines and missing headphone jack and then draws a comparison between the new model and iPhone 6s.

The iPhone 7 dummy unit is encased in a Space Grey metal that matches the 6s and includes the same camera bulge as a leaked photo released last week. It is also positioned closer to the corner of the device with size of the camera hole also about 25% larger, suggesting that significant upgrades to camera quality are in the cards.

The new antenna lines can also been seen in the video which are sleeker than the current design. Rather than stretching across the back of the phone horizontally, the new antenna lines only trace the top and bottom edges leaving the metal back itself unadorned, aside from the Apple logo and camera.

Besides these factors, nothing is there to excite users to buy the new phone. The dimensions of the two models look hopelessly similar. There’s not even a major new technology this time around like 3D Touch in the iPhone 6S to hang iPhone 7 hopes on. To disappoint you further, the iPhone 7 only has one Lightning port, which means you’ll not be able to listen to music while charging your phone.

Skeptics feel Apple might just have peaked with iPhone 6s, but one can never write off Apple. At the moment, the tech titan might look rugged and off the pace but the promise of a radical iPhone 8 might just bring back the ball in Apple’s court in 2017.
