PUNE: Iopsis Software, a web services and software solutions provider has

introduced a totally new approach to web service tools in its Web Services

Component Suite, iNsight 2.0.

Based on its Web Services Studio, iNsight 1.0, this version provides a
component-based framework that provides packaged functionality for creation,

assembly, deployment and publication of dynamic, interactive, enterprise web

services.

The components can be dropped into existing applications and wired together in
an environment of the user's choice using a visual choreography component.

iNsight 2.0 is best used for empowering existing applications to support

dynamic, interactive web services. iNsight 2.0 is designed to provide complete

web service support to existing applications. These components (available in

both .NET and J2EE) require no knowledge of web service standards and are

configured to 'drop and go'.

Iopsis Software has also launched iNsight 1.5, an enhanced version of the

iNsight Web Services studio, which will be available free. Iopsis Software has

also developed an Application Broker; W2Net that uses an innovative approach to

allow business users to bring Windows based assets into a collaborative world.

W2Net enables business users to seamlessly extract and integrate

functionality from legacy applications with Windows or Console clients. The

extracted functionality is made available in the form of reusable and

interoperable components that can be integrated, exposed as XML web services or

used as fulfillment components for interactive enterprise web services.

iNsight 2.0 and W2Net will be licensed to enterprises, independent software
vendors, system integrators and Value-Added Resellers.

"Some of our most significant web service implementations are now in
production and being used by our customers with success. However, we believe

that unless users are familiar and comfortable with Web Services development

environments, acceptance will be slow. By making iNsight 1.5 available free, we

expect to create greater awareness and comfort for Web Services, in general.

"iNsight 1.5 is built on the Forte for Java IDE, which features a modular

architecture based on the popular standards-based NetBeans open source

platform."
