Intel's Lenovo smartphone launched in China

BANGALORE, INDIA: Intel has released its new Lenovo smartphone in China. This smartphone is termed the Lenovo Lephone K800 and has good technical specifications and provides the best features.

The Lenovo Lephone K800 is priced 3,299 yuan (US$520). Intel has used its latest Midfield processor which in turn gives the K800 a top class instruction processing speed.

Let's look at some of the features and specifications of the Lenovo Lephone K800:

1. 1.6GHz Midfield processor

2. 4.5-inch touchscreen

3. Android 2.3.7 operating system

4. 16 GB internal storage

5. Twin cameras ( 8 MP rear camera and a 1.3 MP front camera)

6. Long battery life and fast instruction computing capability

7. Display screen can play videos at 720p resolution

Apart from the above specifications, the Lenovo Lephone K800 is also said to consume lesser power than similar range smartphones.

But inspite of all the positive aspects about the smartphone, Intel has openly expressed its fears about the Lephone 800 doing well in the Chinese market. Since there are a lot of low-end Android phones in China and since people are addicted to these phones and find it difficult to divert, the Lephone may find lesser number of takers compared to these low-end phones.
