Instagram is testing a feature that lets you share posts from other users on your Instagram Story, as reported by TechCrunch. The feature will be similar to Regram feature. The feature was first spotted by app developer Zachary Shakked. The feature is currently being tested with a small percentage of users.

Instagram told TechCrunch, “We’re always testing ways to make it easier to share any moment with friends on Instagram.” When the post is added to your Story, you have options for how you want it to appear. You can resize it, rotate it, move it around, and there are two options for how it visually looks: one that is a cleaner design with the original user’s handle underneath and one that appears more like a traditional Instagram post you might see in your feed.

The resharing feature is accessible via the existing share menu that allows you to share a post via direct message to other users. At the top of that menu, however, there’s a new “Add post to your story” option. When you add a user’s post to your own Instagram Story, the original user is credited at the top, while their caption appears along the bottom.

Instagram recently launched a slew of features. The company started allowing users to follow hashtags, allowing business users to schedule their posts, view last active time of users and many more.
