Input-Output gets overseas contract from ONGC

BANGALORE: Input/Output Inc. said it signed a contract to provide 14 land seismic imaging systems to India's Oil and Natural Gas Corp. Ltd. for more than $60 million.

In a statement, the Houston-based company said the deal is its largest single sale of land acquisition systems.

The provider of seismic technology said each system includes a pre-specified number of VectorSeis digital, full-wave sensors and analog geophones. Nearly 20,000 VectorSeis sensors will be supplied to ONGC, the national oil company of India,

The company said deliveries will be made in the second and third quarters of 2007.
