InMobi unveils ad SDK 400 for developers

SINGAPORE: InMobi, independent mobile ad network company, recently released the new InMobi Ad SDK 400, a software development kit to help developers monetize their mobile applications with access to the InMobi mobile advertising network.

The InMobi Ad SDK 400 is optimized for Apple's latest operating system, iOS 7, which was released in beta in June, and includes capabilities to help drive unparalleled monetization for app developers.

"Our network has experienced millions of ad requests from the new iOS 7, with this number jumping almost five times in the last month and a half," said Piyush Shah, VP of Products, InMobi.

"Advertisers on our network have recognized this trend and are already running several thousand campaigns targeting iOS 7 devices. Our new SDK's advanced capabilities will help app developers leverage this trend and drive higher revenues by accessing superior user insights and by delivering an enhanced user experience," added Shah.

According to InMobi, key benefits for InMobi Ad SDK 400 includes:

* 100 percent compliance with iOS 7 to ensure uninterrupted ad monetization for apps updated to the new platform;

* Access to new ad formats, including a rich gallery of frames, animations and transparent layers that will help developers deliver a delightful ad experience to users and maximize revenues;

* Built-in analytics that allow for tracking of advanced user metrics such as engagement, purchase behavior, level completion trends, and events unique to the game or app, and;

* Free segmentation and cross-promotion tools that can be used to target relevant users with cross-promotions, discounts on virtual goods, and more.

InMobi also announced that, the company is planning to launch an Android version of the SDK supporting Android 4.3, Jelly Bean.
