A research based on objective criteria - Governance Radar - is also embedded into the platform.

Shankar Jaganathan, a corporate governance expert and advisor to InGovern said, “In the corporate world, in addition to electing directors, shareholders are required to vote on specific resolutions. This needs specialists who analyze each resolution and evaluate it for the shareholders to choose.”

He added that Ingovern helps shareholders get superior transparency that is vital for good governance.

“This platform addresses a long felt need of institutional investors to exercise their minority rights and work towards deeper capital markets in India,” said Shriram Subramanian, MD, InGovern.
