NEW DELHI: Infozech Software, provider of convergent billing and settlement solutions for next-gen telcos, announced its entry into Mexico where it completed the implementation of a complete billing solution for MCM Telecom.
MCM, a provider of broadband services for businesses in Mexico, deployed eBill, Infozech's flagship billing and customer care product for its customer billing services, a press release said. New Delhi-based Infozech will also be involved in a multi-year support engagement with the Mexican firm.
Infozech hopes its engagement with MCM will help it tap the business opportunities in Mexico and other Latin American countries.
"Our engagement with MCM will enable us to gain a foothold in Mexico and tap into the business opportunities offered by this high potential market. It will also enable us to expand and strengthen our presence in the Latin American region, where we are already deploying our products," said Infozech CEO Ankur Lal.
eBill solution provides pre-paid and post-paid billing capabilities for MCM's Voice-over-IP services. The product, a billing application, will be used for provisioning, customer management, recurring billing, auto payments and credit monitoring.
It will also offer MCM customers a Web interface for access over the Internet, enabling them to make online payments and other self-service benefits.
MCM Telecom COO Mark Hilton said, "eBill will enable us to provide a variety of enhanced billing services for our recently launched enterprise Voice Over IP services, while also supporting our goal of providing the best customer service of any telecom carrier in Mexico. We believe we have a very scalable product with the Infozech eBill application."
