CorpU awards recognize corporate and government learning organizations that improve both business and employee performance.
The Infosys Campus Connect is an industry-academia partnership program which aims to strengthen the industry-academia bond and build a strong foundation for the future needs of both academia and the growing IT industry by aligning engineering talent with the needs of the industry, said a press release.
The CorpU Xchange Awards were presented, as a part of the Global Leadership Conference 2011, a three-day executive education event sponsored by the University of Pennsylvania and CorpU from 9 May to 11 May 2011.
On receiving the award, Kris Gopalakrishnan, chief executive officer and managing director, Infosys Technologies said, “This award is a recognition of our commitment towards increasing the employability of engineering students through our quality education and learning initiatives. This achievement is certainly a source of inspiration for us to further enhance our work in the area of corporate learning and talent development.”
Infosys Campus Connect Program through its various initiatives demonstrates how the corporate learning unit has created innovative alliances with academia, learning consortiums, subject matter experts and others to support or manage elements of education and learning programs, the release added.
