In an interaction with CIOL, Anantha Radhakrishnan, vice president and head of the Business Transformation (Technology Services and Customer Services) at Infosys BPO said that companies today are seeking flexible and modular solutions tailored to their specific needs. “With cloud, we facilitate innovative and new business models to our clients,” he said.
The application layer bundled with the cloud could either be with an ERP or best of breed tool along with a value-added white space tool called TVA-technology value accelerator.
TVAs are solutions that enable automation and improves processing and efficiency while reducing turnaround time and exceptions. “These solutions leverage the clients’ existing investments in their ERP systems and address whitespaces in their technology landscape,” said Radhakrishnan.
Infosys BPO's TVA portfolio which is majorly in the F&A space spans across various verticals and functional areas. “We are also expanding our range of cloud enabled solutions to help clients move from a Cap-Ex to an Op-Ex model and take advantage of completely managed services,” he said.
Mobility and social networking are other areas that Infosys is expecting good traction and progressively working on this front. “These TVAs are now get embedded and integrated with nearly 20 per cent of our portfolio of services,” Radhakrishnan said.
Infosys has also invested significantly in enabling their workforce to leverage these TVAs across their entire client base. “In addition, several of the TVAs are in the process of being patented as well,” Radhakrishnan concluded.
