BANGALORE, INDIA: Solutions Infini, has launched InfiNeo a banking telecommunications platform for banks and financial institutions to build  SMS banking platform.

InfiNeo is designed in a way to empower customers with the ability to select the type of information they wish to receive.  InfiNeo uses Push and Pull messaging to operate SMS banking services.

Push messages are those that the bank chooses to send out to a customer’s mobile phone without the customer having to initiate a request for the information. Banks can also send promotional messages to customers informing them about a new banking scheme or revised interest rates on fixed deposits. Information related to a recent transaction can also be sent to customers via a text message.

Launched as a platform that enables banks and financial institutions to manage and control their mobile banking services, InfiNeo has also enabled banks to carry out information verification procedures with relative ease.

Currently this platform is used by nationalised banks like Syndicate Bank, DhanaLakshmi Bank, Federal Bank (Kochin), Bank of Baroda and Vijaya Bank.

The InfiNeo system also had the ability to check for duplicate SMS to avoid multiple entries on the database. InfiNeo also provides them with detailed analytics enabling them to view and track their SMS and check whether all the data they collected was verified properly.

Its ability to instantly integrate with the banks own servers and applications and work efficiently in the background without supervision has made it easier for banks to manage and operate the mobile banking services smoothly. With only 6 percent of the Indian population using smartphones, InfiNeo has empowered the BFSI segment to deploy their value added services on the single most common and direct medium of communication – the SMS.
