According to a report on Business Standard, a bunch of Indian Android enthusiasts are planning to send Larry Page (co-founder of Google) and Andy Rubin (co-founder of Android) a box of the Indian sweet along with a letter signed by supporters from India pitching for the next Android version to be called Kaju Katli.

Annkur P Agarwal, the man who is running a campaign called 'Join 'The Kaju Katli for Android', has said that nearly 4000 people are supporting this campaign.

''We want to Thank Google for the wonderful gift to mobile computing! But at the same time, also ask - why this Kolaveri with India?,'' says a message on the website supporting the campaign. Seems like the campaign has been successful in gathering the attention of several developers and Android fans who continue to tweet in support of the matter.

Google generally names Android versions after sweet dishes and releases them in alphabetical order. Hence after Jelly Bean, the next version should start with the letter 'K'.
