Indian home ministry goes the YouTube way

NEW DELHI, INDIA: The Union Home Ministry is slated to launch its YouTube channel tomorrow.

The channel will be launched by Minister of State for Home, Kiren Rijiju, and will disseminate information of the Home Ministry through videos.

Some of the features of the channel include live streaming, annotations and playlists. Broadcasting of video coverage of functions of various ministers will also be stored in the channel.

The YouTube channel is expected to strengthen the online presence of the Ministry and engage audiences.
