“India needs a sustainable infrastructure. Bicsi is working towards creating a sustainable infrastructure so that the country's growth prospects increases. We have got a few certified contracts this year to make it a reality,” he said.

Later, while giving a presentation in 'Enterprise IT and the New Change Agents', Deepak Kumar, director-Telecommunications, IDC, said technology India lacks skilled professionals in Converged Infrastructure.

Technology has become a key driver of growth across the world. But, in India, we lack skilled professionals in Converged Infrastructure. More over, we have not yet fully utilised the available infrastructure in the country,” he said.

He further said that identifying the failure points in enterprise applications are becoming so hard. “Performance issues are getting more complex, as new bandwidth intensive applications run on the enterprise IT infrastructure. Not only that, users are increasingly switching not just from one device to another, but from one network to another. So identifying the points of failure becomes so difficult,” he concluded.
