Imation to launch new portable drive in June

NEW DELHI, INDIA: Imation Corp. today announced that it plans to launch Apollo portable hard drive in India in June 2008.

Based on 2.5-inch hard drive technology, the USB powered Apollo Portable Hard Drive is lightweight, stylish and extremely durable with up to 320GB for consumers' storage and backup needs, said Imation.

The drive requires neither batteries nor an external power supply. A blue LED light indicates when data transfer is in process so you know when backups are complete.

Imation Apollo 2.5" Portable Hard Drive will be available in 160GB, 250GB or 320GB in India through their channel partners.
