IIT Delhi Recruitment 2020: Applications invited for Jr Project Assistant and Sr Research Fellow by Nov 17; Salary upto 35k

IIT Delhi Recruitment 2020: IIT Delhi invites applications for posts for Jr. Project Assistant and Sr Research Fellow. The appointment shall be on contractual basis with consolidated pay, renewable yearly or upto the duration of the project, whichever is earlier.

About the project

The title of the project is “3D Motion Perception in children with Eye-motion disorders (RP03962G)”. Further, it is a DST funded project under the supervision of Prof. Tapan Kumar Gandhi, Department of Electrical Engineering. The duration of the project is up to April 23, 2023.

Eligibility Criteria

For the Sr. Research Fellow, the salary will be ₹ 35000 plus HRA @ 24%. Candidates who have a 1st class BTech in EE, EC, CS,  Instrumentation, BioMedical with CSIR NET/GATE qualified and 2 years of experience in relevant field

OR

1st class MTech in EE, EC, CS,  Instrumentation, BioMedical, also with CSIR NET/GATE qualified and 2 years of experience in the relevant field; can apply.

Further, the mandatory skills are Experience in C#, Unity, developing VR applications. Moreover, these skills will be an added benefit. Experience in MATLAB or Python and Embedded Systems; Knowledge in Electronics Design.

For the Jr Project Assistant (Tech) salary will be ₹ 28148 (consolidated). Candidates who have a BSc in Optometry or Diploma in Optometry with 1-year experience after diploma can apply.

Further, IIT Delhi will relax the requirement of NET/GATE examination for the selection to the post of JRF/SRF, if the candidate has graduated from CFTIs with a CGPA of more than 8 (i.e. 80% aggregate marks).  Also, the appointment will be at IIT-Delhi but the posting will be at AIIMS, Delhi.
