SAN RAFAEL, USA: NewMo, provider of the suite of CyberAnalyst online brand protection solutions, announced significant new functionality in its CyberAnalyst Version 4 platform.

NewMo customers can now readily utilize CyberAnalyst to identify linkages among sellers representing, or purporting to represent, their brands online.

As CyberAnalyst monitors the global online arena, it collects detailed data, as available, from online listings including listing title, description, product being sold, quantity of units advertised, listing price, shipping method, seller name, seller location, and seller contact information.

CyberAnalyst Version 4 automatically compares all of the information collected for a customer on an ongoing basis, searching for matches that can link a seller to another seller, or to many other sellers.

Pam Passaretti, CEO of NewMo, said: "The sophistication of the CyberAnalyst platform keeps growing. One of the issues we've heard our customers talk about most often is the need to more readily identify the big targets- the sellers who are selling on multiple platforms and operating under multiple identities as they try to evade detection. Our new seller linkage functionality does exactly that."

CyberAnalyst 4 compares sellers across many dimensions: seller name, physical address, email address, phone number, fax number, IP address. Proposed matches are presented as "identical" or "highly likely" and details for the matches are displayed side-by-side. The user decides whether to accept a recommended linkage, an action which results in the presentation of a single, comprehensive footprint for a network of sellers.
