Bangalore, India: Idea Cellular has brought out a Dual-Sim Android smartphone that costs Rs 5,994. Idea calls this Android smartphone the “Idea ID 918”.

The Idea ID 918 is the third Android phone launched by Idea. The cellular company had earlier launched the Idea Blade and the Idea ID 280 both of which were reasonably successful in the Indian market.

Now, with the ID 918 Idea aims at capturing a substantial share in the Indian low-cost Android smartphones market. The technical specifications of the ID 918 are quite impressive considering the smartphone's cost.
