According to VK Mathews, Chairman and CEO, IBS, “It is imperative that our operations are extremely quality driven. The re-certification by the world's leading agency is testimony to the stringent quality standards that we adhere to on an ongoing basis.”

A company spokesperson added here that the ISO 9001:2008 lays down stringent requirements for a quality management system whilst demonstrating a company’s ability to consistently provide product that meets customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements. TickIT is a quality-management certification program for software, supported primarily by the United Kingdom and Swedish software industries.

"Software development organizations seeking TickIT Certification are required to show conformity with ISO 9001. Re-certification is done once in every three years, based on the periodic surveillance audit carried out every six months. IBS became one of the first IT companies in Kerala to be assessed as ISO 9001 compliant in the year 2000," the spokesperson added.
