BANGALORE - IBM,
the world's biggest computer services firm, is going to announce a large new
investment in India, a source close to the development told Reuters.
"It is going to be one of the largest investments made by a tech company
in India," the source, who did not wish to be identified, told Reuters.
No further details were given.
International Business Machines Corp., based in Armonk, New York, is already
the biggest multinational employer in Asia's third-largest economy with 42,000
staff on its pay roll, up from 4,900 in 2002.
