IBM in partnership with NVIDIA released its first Open Power Server System S824L with 2 Tesla K40 GPU cards for heterogeneous computing. These systems can accelerate the performance of big data/HPC workloads in the order of 8-10X. This demo would cover Power8 & GPU acceleration on a popular machine learning algorithm used in big data analytics.
