i2 Tech sets up new facility in B'lore

BANGALORE: Leading provider of supply chain management solutions, i2 Technologies has plans to set up a campus facility in Bangalore, which can house 2500 professionals.





The campus, being designed by noted architect Hafeez Contractor, is expected to open by December this year, according to i2 Technologies President, Solutions Operations, Pallab Chatterjee.





The first phase with a capacity of 2.5-lakh sq., to house 1500 people will be completed by December, he said.



i2 presently has over 1000 professionals working in two facilities in Bangalore. Chatterjee said, i2 would strengthen their human resources activities in India in the backdrop of winning three major orders including Dell.



i2 has offices in Mumbai and Bangalore, with over 1200 employees focusing on product development, customer support and implementation services for clients in India, Europe and the Asia Pacific. i2's global customer base consists of some of the world's market leaders, including seven of the Fortune global top 10.
