According to an Australian news website, he told a business forum audience in Australia: "I, Steve Wozniak, don't have broadband at home."

The statement is surprise as it came from the veteran computer engineer, who created the Apple I computer and co-created the Apple II computer in the mid-1970s, which contributed significantly to the microcomputer revolution of that era.

Woznaik further said broadband is a monopoly in his town. "I can get it from a cable company — but I don't have cable."

In 2001, Wozniak founded Wheels of Zeus to create wireless GPS technology to help everyday people find everyday things much easily.

Despite leaving Apple in 1987, he is still seen as an ambassador of the brand.

According to Wozniak's autobiography, iWoz, Apple co-founder Steve Jobs had the idea to sell a computer as a fully assembled printed circuit board. Wozniak was skeptical initially, but was later convinced by Jobs that even if they were not successful they could at least say to their grandkids they had had their own company.
