According to Sergio Leveratto, chief sales and marketing officer at HzO:""As part of HzO's continued global expansion, establishing operations in Japan will provide local device makers and manufacturers with easy access to HzO's unique partnership ecosystem. With HzO emerging on multiple high-volume consumer and industrial wearable technology platforms, our market data has identified additional opportunities to drive sales and business partnerships in Japan. HzO will continue its global expansion throughout 2014."

HzO's proprietary nanotechnology solution creates a thin film barrier that protects electronics from the inside out. HzO delivers scalable end-to-end solutions for original equipment manufacturers (OEM's) seeking to meet consumer demands for device protection while maintaining flexibility in design. HzO is a technical partner in developing and implementing its licensable, liquid and corrosion protection technology in consumer electronics, industrial and life sciences industries.

"This new office is going to accelerate our development of strategic partnerships in this important region," said Wataru Nishimura, vice president and general manager of HzO Japan.
