Hynix sees memory chip price fall easing from Q1

SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA: South Korea's Hynix Semiconductor Inc, the world's No.2 memory chipmaker, said on Thursday that memory chip prices would start stabilising from the first quarter of next year.

The company, which today reported near-record quarterly profits, also said corporate PC replacement cycle has already started and that would help stabilise the market, which has been hit by by weak consumer demand for computers.
