NEW DELHI, INDIA: Networking company Huawei announced that it would deploy its MSC (Mobile Switching Center) Pool solution at Tata Teleservices' network in Mumbai to improve performance, reliability and disaster resilience of the network.
The solution transforms three existing sets of CDMA mobile soft-switches into one MSC Pool without having to make any modifications to other parts of the network.

The company says that the operator-controllable load balancing addresses the problem of unevenly distributed traffic loads in geographical areas, adjusting the ratio of subscriber quantity to traffic volume between the three MSC.
The company also claims that this approach can reduce total network capacity demands by up to 20 percent and significantly reduce capex.
