Huawei Nova 2i launched with FullView display and four cameras

Huawei has launched the international version of the Maimang 6 smartphone (launched only in China), dubbed as Huawei Nova 2i. The handset will be available in three color variants, namely Aurora Blue, Graphite Black and Prestige Gold. The price and the availability of the device are not announced as yet.

In terms of the specifications, the device features FullView display which is a highlight of the device. It comes with an 18:9 aspect ratio. Another highlight of the Huawei Nova 2i is it sports four cameras: two at the front and two at the back. Dual cameras on both panels mean that the handset is capable of clicking bokeh shots and portraits. Much like Huawei 8 Pro, the new Huawei Nova 2i also lets users readjust the focus after the photo has been shot while also allows to choose different bokeh effects.

The device comprises a 5.9-inch display with a metal unibody design. The device sports a 13-megapixel sensor accompanied by a 2-megapixel sensor at the front with dual LED flash, while at the back, it has a 16-megapixel primary sensor clubbed with a 2-megapixel sensor with a soft LED flash. The device is powered by a 2.36 GHz Octa-core Kirin 659 processor coupled with 4GB RAM. The smartphone has a 64GB internal memory and has an expandable memory up to 256GB with microSD. The smartphone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat operating system and has the EMUI 5.1 on top of it. There is a 3340 mAh battery in this phone. It also features a fingerprint sensor on the back of the device below the dual camera setup.

Besides, the smartphone also offers Hybrid Dual SIM, 4G LTE with VoLTE, WiFi (802.11 b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS/A-GPS, USB 2.0 and SAR sensor.
