Huawei launches network evolution centre

BEIJING, CHINA: Networking company Huawei announced the launch of its first Global Network Evolution & Experience Center (GNEEC). The GNEEC was specifically designed and developed to manage challenges that operators encounter during the network evolution process.

The GNEEC helps operators to select network evolution solutions suitable for subscribers, while minimizing financial risks and generating a higher return on investment, says a release.

The GNEEC covers an area of 1,500 square meters and is equipped with multi-generation E2E network systems with more than 200 sets of equipment supplied by eight network infrastructure vendors.

Multi-vendor interoperability tests can be performed on over 30 kinds of network evolution plans, while independent testing and professional services areas can be configured to ensure that the GNEEC can simulate and support all the major network evolution processes deployed, adds the release.
