HTC opens new facility in Chennai

BANGALORE, INDIA: HTC Global Services, a provider in IT and BPO solutions, today inaugurated their state of the art facility named HTC Towers at Guindy, Tamil Nadu.

Dan Saint-Rossy, Consul for Public Affairs, US Consulate Chennai inaugurated this facility in the presence of  Joginder Singh, chairman, AMCHAM-Chennai, Aubrey Daniels, regional director, AMCHAM -Tamil Nadu, Madhava Reddy, president and CEO of HTC Global Services.

The new facility in Chennai spans nearly 140,000 sq ft and can accommodate 1500 employees. Recently HTC acquired a facility of 110,000 sq ft to house 1200 employees in Hyderabad, said a press release.

Madhava Reddy, Founder, president and CEO of HTC Global Services said, “We are immensely proud of our achievements. This is a very important milestone for us to establish a scalable infrastructure in Chennai which allows us to harness the incredible talent available here.”

He added that HTC has invested over 300 crores in India in the recent past to expand its current facilities in MEPZ, and acquiring new facilities in Guindy, Chennai and Begumpet, Hyderabad.

Reddy reiterated, “ Among these three main offices in India, HTC plans to recruit 3000 in the next fiscal year to serve its increasing business. In addition, HTC invested in training facilities at its head quarters in Troy, Michigan to develop talent within the US.”
