Intec said in a statement that this contract adds to its long-term relationship with the Hutchison Group, particularly its 3G operations.

HT Mobile recently launched its advanced CDMA2000 1XEV-DO network in Vietnam, with a network presence in all 64 provinces together with a suite of products and services ranging from prepaid, postpaid, SMS and MMS to high-speed Internet as well as infotainment services.

"We chose Intec because of its proven track record as an established BSS/OSS vendor across the globe and because its integrated solution architecture offers us a proven solution based on best-of-breed components," said Elizabete Fong, chief executive officer of HT Mobile.

In a separate statement, Intec announced the availability of the latest addition to its Intec Mobile Business Solution range – an ‘Express’ version of its Intec Convergent Billing technology, Singl.eView.

This ‘ready-to-go’ mobile customer care and billing solution offers emerging operators a capability to quickly meet their primary BSS requirements, while creating an evolutionary path to a fully convergent, tier one BSS/OSS architecture based on class-leading technology.

The new version offers new and fast developing mobile operators a cost-effective way to launch their business in the minimum time, acquire and look after new customers, cope with rapid increases in subscriber numbers, and still have the flexibility to launch new services as they are developed.
