HSS’ SS7 soln for ADF

NEW DELHI: Apertio, developer of open and flexible software infrastructure for mobile networks, has chosen the integrated SS7 and SIGTRAN solution from Hughes Software Systems (HSS) for building Apertio's Application Development Framework (ADF). The ADF supports applications such as HLR, SLR and applications hosted by the SDF/SB middleware.

According to the press release, Apertio has used HSS' SS7 (MTP3, SCCP, TCAP) and SIGTRAN (M3UA, SCTP) stacks to develop and deploy enhanced carrier-grade applications. HSS solution has helped Apertio to design applications with an unmatched performance and scalability, offering the advantage of drastically reduced total cost of ownership and increased Return on Investment to its customers.
