Sometimes, after a night out with your friends, while checking out party pictures, there comes one that you want to immediately tag by your side table but obviously where’s the printer? Fret not, here is one. HP’s new pocket-sized Sprocket printer is for such moments when you instantly want prints of your phone pictures.

Sprocket is a pint-sized affair, priced at $130 that prints 2x3” sticky-back photos directly from your smartphone via Bluetooth.

The system utilizes the ZINK (Zero Ink), dumping the need for printer cartridges in favor of heat- activated dye color crystals in the paper. The photo version of the printing paper runs $10 a pack.

Apart from that, the free HP Sprocket app for iOS and Android platforms allows users to customize and print smartphone and social media photos by adding frames, text, stickers, filters and more. It can pull photos from your camera roll, Instagram, Flickr, or Facebook account, and because it also has access to your camera, you can take a photo of whatever you want to print.

The printed snaps are vibrant, smudge-proof, water-resistant and tear-resistant. Just peel off the backing and the photos can become stickers to pin or tag wherever you want. The printer is available in colours: white with rose gold accents and black with silver accents.
