INCOIS has established a Tsunami Early Warning Centre for 24x7 operation  with all the necessary computational and communication infrastructure that enables reception of real-time data from all the sensors, analysis of the data, generation and dissemination of tsunami advisories following a standard operating procedure.

By conducting regular workshops on HPC and Parallel Programming, C-DAC shall leverage its vast experience in HPC and keep INCOIS scientist abreast of latest development and trends in parallel computing. High Performance Application support in related areas will facilitate scientists at INCOIS in development of effective parallel codes.  Optimum utilization of the facility including the entire ecosystem with minimum downtime will be ensured by professional On-site System Support.

“With this joint cooperation in HPC, we intend to contribute significantly assisting INCOIS, an esteemed organization which directly impacts the lives of millions in the coastal areas” informed Shri Goldi Misra, Group Coordinator & Head, HPC Solutions Group, C-DAC.
