HP unveils new enterprise solutions

NEW DLEHI, INDIA: HP on Wednesday announced new products for the enterprise segment which the company claims will enable companies to drive data insights and take informed decisions.

The technology giant said that the new products can be deployed irrespective of the delivery mechanism. It is also working with various service providers and partners to offer customized offerings.

The company has introduced Application Lifecycle Intelligence (ALI) 2.0 and Business Service Management (BSM) 9.1 solutions. It has also extended its Information Optimization portfolio that can facilitate Instant-On enterprises to turn the information and insights into business benefits.

Sanjay Aurora, VP, Asia Pacific Japan, HP, said that organizations leverage only five per cent of their information while five per cent of organizations don’t have effective information strategy in place.

“HP has leapfrogged, and companies can leverage and use 100 per cent of all business relevant information. Based on the past patterns, we can anticipate and predict about the forthcoming scenario.”

Aurora added that HP’s IDOL 10 is a combination of two technologies — Vertica and Autonomy.

These are cloud-ready applications that can be accessed through pay-per-go or pay-per-device model. The company is targeting large enterprise in the telecom and BFSI verticals in addition to government sector.

Kamal Dutta, director and head BU, Asia Pacific Japan, HP Software, said that individuals these days want information instantly. “Companies can scale applications as per their needs and are secured with framework. With new dashboard to VP of operations, the BSM can automate provision and monitor across various IT environments.”
