HP unveils desktops for biz customers

MUMBAI: Hewlett-Packard India Pvt. Ltd has introduced a new range of desktop-based products for business customers. According to the company, the new HP Compaq business desktops d220, d330 and d530 series offer improved security features and client services to ease the technology upgrade process and reduce maintenance, repair, and support costs throughout the product lifecycle.






"Many companies today are putting themselves at risk by running older, less secure PCs in their IT environment," said Joergen Jakobsen, vice president and general manager, Business PC division, HP Personal Systems Group Asia Pacific.

"Our new business desktop products perform better to improve worker productivity and will help businesses protect their valuable data with enhanced security features and services," added Jakobsen.

Paired with HP Desktop Lifecycle Services Solutions and HP Security Solutions, these new HP desktops offer customers a fully customizable solution by helping IT staff operate more efficiently, thereby improving return on IT and providing effective management for any customer IT environment.

HP desktops come with the Intel, Celeron, P4 processors with hyper threading technology that allows unhindered working of background tasks like virus scan and data compression. The HP Compaq business desktops d220 with a Pentium 4 processor are priced from Rs 35,990 upwards.
