HP launches new testing lab in India

BANGALORE: HP today launched a new testing lab at its Global Delivery Application Services (GDAS) India Center.The center will develop IP for custom and package applications and offer new services like Outsourced Testing Factory and Testing on an ASP model.

“Testing and Quality Assurance Services have gained credence as an independent service, delivered within an integrated project ecosystem. What this means is that testing has a fair degree of autonomy to ensure high delivery quality, without jeopardizing the Project Management framework for the overall service delivery,” said Gopikrishna Madle, Testing Practice Head, GDAS India Cluster.

"With quality products that cater to diverse Testing and Quality Assurance needs, HP today has a majority market share in the software testing products market. HP’s Global Delivery Application Services (GDAS) organization, on the other hand, brings experience in Testing and Quality Assurance service delivery.

"The ability to jointly leverage product IP and service delivery capabilities via this Testing Lab will help provide best-in-class Testing and Quality Assurance solutions to our customers”, said PV Venkatachalam, Head of GDAS India Cluster.
