HP brings Windows notebook PCs and tablets

HP India has announced 11.6-inch notebook HP Stream, two tablets and one palm sized desktop HP Pavilion Mini Desktop

NEW DELHI, INDIA: HP India has announced a range of new consumer products - an 11.6-inch notebook HP Stream, two tablets including the HP Stream 8 and HP Slate6 VoiceTab II, and one palm sized desktop HP Pavilion Mini Desktop.

The HP Stream is a new kind of Windows notebook PC in a thin and light package, and includes value-added services with free cloud storage with 1TB of Microsoft OneDrive for one year; Office 365 Personal for one year.

Customers can enjoy entertainment in high-definition (HD) with an 11.6 HD display. While the innovative fan-less design with high efficiency Intel Celeron processor and 32GB of eMMC flash memory allows for quiet, cool operation and quick file recall, the stunning color and stylish gradient design available in Horizon Blue is sure to turn heads.

Sleek design, value-added cloud services and long battery life make the HP Stream an attractive mobile device for on-the-go customers.

At 2.06 inches in height and weighing just 630 grams, the HP Pavilion Mini Desktop can fit in the palm of a hand. It maximizes productivity enabled by Windows 8.1 and supports processors up to Intel Core i3.

Customers can store and connect to more videos and photos with up to 1 TB storage and up to 8 GB of expandable memory and also enjoy dual display support with Display Port and HDMI compatible ports, giving them the ability to stream and access content on multiple screens, including TV with Quad HD support.

The HP Pavilion Mini Desktop does not include an optical drive. External USB optical drive can be used through any of the four USB ports. The HP Pavilion Mini Desktop comes in snow white.

The cloud-connected, Intel-powered tablet includes one year of Office 365 Personal, 1TB of Microsoft One Drive storage for one year, and a full Windows 8.1 experience.

HP also launched the HP Slate6 VoiceTab II, a lightweight, quad core tablet combined with voice-calling.

Powered by a quad-core processor, gifted with the speed of 3G, and topped off by a  display, the HP Slate 6 VoiceTab II  sets smooth, skip-free multi-tasking in motion. Running on Android 4.4 KitKat Operating System with built-in 3G Dual SIM capability, the HP Slate6 VoiceTab II helps consumers stay connected at all times.

The device also features 2 megapixels front HD camera and 8 megapixels rear HD camera with flash. The HP Slate6 VoiceTab II has 16GB built in storage expandable to 32GB via MicroSD card.

The HP Pavilion Mini Desktop starting price of Rs. 26,990 includes Intel Pentium 3 558U processor, 4 GB RAM and a 500 GB Hard Disk Drive (HDD). The HP Stream 11.6 diagonal starts at Rs.19,990 and Stream 8 Tablet starts at RS. 16,990. Slate 6 Voice Tab II starts at Rs. 15,990.
