Hospitality sector gets global for eRevMax

KOLKATA, INDIA: eRevMax/RateTiger has announced its new corporate and management structure, together with plans for global expansion through organic growth and acquisitions.

A press release tells that just recently the software company successfully launched the first automated revenue management system, RTStrategyEngine, and completed the acquisition of ‘SimpleDistribution’, a web-based channel-management solution for small hotels, from RateReports. Going forward eRevMax will continue to invest into its leading product lines while accelerating growth through strategic acquisitions. With plans to further expand operations internationally by opening offices in North Africa, Middle East, Asia and Australia within the next twelve months, eRevMax has re-worked the group’s legal structure as well as its senior management team.

Reuel Ghosh and Andrew Morsi, the shareholders and founders of eRevMax, have stepped down from the day to day management of the group and will serve as Presidents on the Board of Directors. Sascha Hausmann, so far Chief Operating Officer, has been named Chief Executive Officer of eRevMax and will remain a member of the board. Sascha, 35, who was appointed COO of eRevMax in June 2007, has overseen the introduction of the global sales team, marketing and support initiatives as well as many business alliances. Going forward, he will lead all global operations. The board as a team will be actively involved in strategic opportunities.

In order to streamline operations, the eRevMax Group has also re-organized the corporate group structure. A newly incorporated eRevMax International, based in Dublin, Ireland will be the new holding company for the various business units in the USA, Europe and Asia.
